If you’ve been following my blog, you know I love chatting about skincare practices and products.  Winter is a great time to start your more intensive skin treatments with your favorite aesthetician such as microneedling sessions or intensive peels because you will likely be spending more time indoors, out of the sun. But, you don’t have to wait for your appointments to have a relaxing spa day. This week we are talking about how to bring the spa home to you. I made a whole list on amazon for you to shop below !

I love a DIY spa day or night. Start by create a relaxing atmosphere. Play your favorite music and light a candle or incense. Next, put on a hair treatment. Trust me we all need one!

Now, let’s talk about skin! First skincare step is to cleanse. I know our skin needs a little extra love during this dry season. Switching to more gentle cleansers and adding hydrating products into your routine is a safe bet. Check out of some my skincare favorites HERE

 Step two is to exfoliate and steam in a nice relaxing bath (a minty Epsom salt bath is my favorite). If a bath isn’t your thing, grab yourself a facial steamer. These are so nice to have!

Just because you’re not a professional doesn’t mean you should skip the massage! Take a facial oil or serum, a Gua Sha facial tool and massage your face.

Now choose a face mask that fits your skin’s needs and chillax. I always love reading on my water-resistant kindle or scrolling on TikTok during this part.

Last step is to wrap it all up with a moisturizer.
