Who is ready for the holidays? Not me. I am always so underprepared and a total last minute shopper. Also, I am the WORST gift giver ever so I always just wait until I know for sure what they want. My favorite part of this time of year is all the twinkly lights and the fun events going on around the Chippewa Valley. Here's a few of my favorites to bring the whole family some holiday cheer.

Irvine Park Christmas Village

I used to be a pretty big grinch, but the last couple of years I've dragged Chris to the Christmas Village with me to get the cheesy photo in front of the giant tree. There's something about bundling up, bringing hot cocoa and looking at the lights with people you love. It makes you feel warm and cozy.

Holiday Lights in Eau Claire

If you missed the parade on the 2nd of December, you can make your own parade with the Chippewa Valley Parade of Lights. Local homes and businesses sign up to decorate their house/yard with lights and get featured on a map from December 1-31st. You get to drive around and look at all of them. Here's a link to the map. https://www.visiteauclaire.com/events-and-festivals/holiday-events/chippewa-valley-parade-of-lights/
