We love to travel in this family! Also Trent's dad lives 3 hours away so we have mastered packing a suitcase. Here are my top "must haves" for your kids suit case.

Tablet or Nintendo Switch

Having a Nintendo Switch to bring along on long car rides and plane trips has been a life saver. It will keep them entertained enough to not ask, "are we there yet" every ten seconds.

Pack Light

One thing we have learned is to pack light. Your kids don't need a pair of pajamas for every night. I usually pack a pair of PJs for every two nights and one light weight jacket just in case they get cold. Pack one extra pair of clothes just in case and match up and layer the outfits by day as you pack them so they are easy to grab in the morning. I have attached a packing list so your kids can help!

Snacks

Don't forget the snacks! Kids love to find something to complain about while traveling and making sure you have snacks with you will limit the whining and how many stops you have to make.

Toys

Limit the amount of toys your kids can bring or they will try to bring everything they own. I usually limit it to two books and two of their favorite small toys.
