The school year has begun and fall is almost here! That means cold and flu season is almost here as well. Here's a list of immunity boosting and sick day must haves for every kiddo (and you too!)

Immune Boosting Tea

I own a tea shop downtown and we have a great immunity boosting tea called Immunity Potion. This tea is jam packed full of antioxidants and chemicals that help boost your immunity naturally! This tea can be mixed with some homemade lemonade to cut the taste if your kids don't like tea.

Sleep

This sounds like common sense but a lot of times our immune systems are compromised when we aren't getting sufficient sleep. High-quality sleep is connected to stronger adaptive and innate immunity. So make sure your little ones are getting plenty of ZZZZs.

Vitamins

Taking vitamins every day can help boost your immunity as well. Olly makes a great immune boosting vitamin for kids!

Keep your Medicine Cabinet Stocked

There's nothing worse than having a sick kid and no medicine on hand. Make sure your cupboard is stocked with children's Tylenol to bring down fever and help aches and Vick's to help with congestion and sore throat.

Humidifier

Having a small humidifier to put by their bed will help with sore throat and congestion. They're handy whether you're sick or you just need some moisture in the dry, winter air. Here's a cheap one on Amazon to snag.
