I can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow! How did that happen?! This year has been flying by. Here's a few things you can incorporate into you holiday festivities to keep the kids entertained.

Bake A Pie

When I was a kid my grandma would make pies with my siblings and I. It's one of my fondest memories to this day. We would have contests to see who could make the best pie crust and then everyone in the family would taste test them. You don't have to make pie baking a competition BUT you can definitely let your kids help out with the baking this year.

Board Games

Getting together with the family is always an excuse to bust out all your best board games. There's nothing better than playing your favorite games surrounded by family after the most awaited meal of the year.

Make a Thankful Jar

Cut up strips of paper to write what you're most thankful for and stick them in a jar. Keep it in the house to pull it out when you're having a rough day. It will remind you of all the things you have to be grateful for throughout the year.

Make Christmas Ornaments

Every year for Christmas my son's grandma gets Christmas ornaments for the kids. One year we did it a little different and we all made our own on Thanksgiving. It was super fun to create some art that will be hung up on the tree for years to come.
